Sasrapid is pleased to announce that their CEO, John Cranwell, has been selected as a finalist of the 2013 Sport SA Administrator of the Year Award. At this morning’s Adelaide Shores / Sport SA Partners and Members Breakfast and Sport SA Award Finalist announcement, John was recognised for his hard work and leadership over the last 12 months. The Administrator of the year Award, sponsored by OAMPS Insurance Brokers, is awarded to an individual who has made a significant contribution to their chosen sport or the sports industry as a whole. The other two finalists are Andrew Caldwell (SACA) and Michelle Doyle (Swimming SA). John has lead Sasrapid in its continued drive for inclusive participation in community sport and recreation here in South Australia. John stated “Our rebrand, new ambassador program and continued development of partnerships have created a strong foundation to develop the membership structure and transition project which are integral to the organisations strategic priorities and future growth.” “I am very proud to be a finalist for this year’s award, but it really has been a team effort to receive the nomination. The whole Sasrapid team, from our staff to our Directors, volunteers and Members, have been a driving force for our progression over the last 12 months. I feel very privileged to be part of such a wonderful organisation that is dedicated to an inclusive culture in sport and rec.” The Awards winners will be announced at The 2013 KPMG Celebration of South Australian Sport black tie dinner alongside other Award winners and inductees into the South Australian Sports Hall of Fame on November 22nd. The sole purpose of Sasrapid is to enhance the lives of South Australians living with disability by supporting them to access community sport and recreation opportunities. Sasrapid would like to congratulate Andrew and Michelle who are both outstanding administrators who are achieving great outcomes for their respective sports.
